Fun Lovin’ Criminals To Headline

Fun Lovin’ Criminals have been announced to headline the Feel Good festival in Rochdale this summer.  Best known for hits including ‘Scooby Snacks’, ‘Loco’ and ‘King of New York’ they’ll take to the stage for a free show on Saturday 3 September.

Fun Lovin’ Criminals have had 8 top 40 singles, and 3 top 10 albums, with their most recent album, ‘Classic Fantastic’ being released in 2010. The popular New York trio has been rolling their own blend of rap, blues and rock since 1993. Prior to their visit to Rochdale they’ll be appearing at this August’s V Festival.

The Rochdale Feel Good Festival will be staged on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 September. The main stage, against the backdrop of Rochdale Town Hall is sponsored by The Flying Horse Hotel, and Ben Boothman, owner of the popular town centre venue said they were delighted to be supporting the festival:

“Fun Lovin’ Criminals are one of my favourite bands so I know we’ll be in for a fantastic night when they come to Rochdale. We’ll also be hosting live music four nights a week during the run up to the festival itself, and the after show party. The Feel Good Festival is growing significantly every year, which is good news for the area.” 

More acts will be confirmed later this month.

In addition to a full programme of live music, the free festival will include a food tent and 2 day market. Celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott has already been announced as one of the top chefs set to host live cooking demonstrations in the festivals celebrity kitchen.
